Rocking concrete box

C Gibbs was recommended to me by a friend in New York; a country / folk / rock artist with a penchant for telling us about the yellow haired devil ex-girlfriend from Tennessee he still dedicated songs to, and for singing about unicorns (C Gibbs, that is — not my friend).

Frank Heer is a Zürich local who plays 'cello and keyboards, and is extremely modest... Every time Gibbs tried to acknowledge him, he would yell "C Gibbs" into his mic!

The music suited Helsinki perfectly - country style rock with a weird enough edge to be interesting. They did a beautiful version of Fought The Bear with screaming C Gibbs, roaring guitar, weeping 'cello and almost weeping me.
